Life at RiverSprings:
My day involves performing prophylaxis, radiographs, oral hygiene instructions, oral cancer screenings, scaling and root planing and sealants. I work with patients on ways to properly care for their mouth. Without a healthy mouth, you cannot have a healthy body. The mouth is the door way into the rest of the body, so achieving a healthy mouth is very important.
I enjoy coming to work every day and getting to work with the most AMAZING staff ever. We are like a family. We not only have a great time at work, but we also do things outside of work together. I love the opportunity of getting to know each and every patient. I enjoy hearing the stories they tell and getting to watch the children grow every 6 months. But more importantly I love getting to see the change in patient’s oral hygiene.
Keeping it local:
I believe RiverSprings Dental plays a major role in the community. Dr. Wayman is always willing and eager to help support any and all community projects, from the Run through the Springs 5K, Angel Tree, or even going into the schools in February and teaching about dental health. We are out and about in this community and I love it.
Away from work:
My life outside of RiverSprings Dental, oh my where do I begin…. First and for most I am very proud to say that I am a member of the Kingston Springs Church of Christ, where I teach a Bible class for half of the year. But when I am not at church, you can find me working out or doing some craft project. I have become very passionate about a healthy lifestyle and I am trying to help others become that way.
My two cents:
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
