Life at RiverSprings:
I assist Dr. Wayman with procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals and exams, and I am certified in nitrous oxide monitoring, coronal polishing and radiology. I take x-rays, make temporary crowns, night guards, whitening trays, and assist with denture fabrication. On occasion, I help Ashley on the hygiene side and help Amy up front with calling and scheduling patients.
The part of my role at RiverSprings that I enjoy the most is helping patients to achieve dental comfort, witnessing before and after treatment, and knowing that I played a direct role in completing the new, finished, quality dental work. I also think very highly of my work family, Amy, Ashley, Dr. Wayman and Stephanie, because the people you work with really help make or break your job.
Keeping it local:
From my perspective, I believe RiverSprings’ role in the community is to provide local, comfortable and honest dental work to those wanting to acquire a healthy mouth, while establishing relationships with each of our patients. It is our goal here to give back to the community, not only with our dental services but working with organizations such as the Ark and the Cheatham County Animal Awareness foundation, and also participating in local events such as the Run through the Springs 5k.
Away from work:
When not at RiverSprings, I may be found traveling, running 5ks or kayaking. I enjoy being outdoors and trying new things.
Guilty musical pleasures:
Simon and Garfunkel, Metallica and Maroon 5
